BibleProfs.us is a virtual space for Bible profs — that is, folks who teach academic biblical studies, especially in higher education — to share ideas and resources.
As of February 5, 2025, the site is still pretty new, and mainly offers some support materials for the שְׁמֻעוֹת־שַׁחְמָט (or שׁ״שׁ for short, or Chesstories in English) teaching tool described in Christopher Heard, “מֵת הַמֶּלֶךְ: Teaching Biblical Hebrew with Narrated Chess,” Hebrew Higher Education 27 (2025).
But we’re interested in expanding beyond that narrow focus! Stay in touch, watch us grow, and think about how you might contribute as we seek to help each other be better BibleProfs.
